Two friends started a small berry farming business until their calling for poultry came. With farms all over South- East Queensland, the legacy of the small business continues to grow.
It all started with two friends: Joseph Elks and Albert Sudlow back in 1913 when they established Woodlands Enterprises. Woodlands was a hub for farming strawberries and pineapple. It wasn't until later on with the help of son Don that Woodlands branched out to find their calling in Poultry.
Fast forward to the present, the legacy of these men continues with the fourth generation of family farming going from strength to strength with the Mountain View Poultry brand. Mountain View Poultry farms are located all over the Sunshine Coast and hinterland and our head office in Beerburrum is nestled in the heart of the Glasshouse Mountains right next to Mount Tibrogargan (as seen in the Mountain View logo).
