Accounting Software: MYOB Exo
Website: www.alphaweld.com.au
Alphaweld Supply Group is Western Australia’s leading welding supplies and hire specialist, with over 5,000+ welding products available on their website. The website was built as an extension to their Canning Vale-based warehouse and massive range, offering users an easy and intuitive online experience.
Web Ninja was Alphaweld’s partner of choice when it came to building their website back in 2017, thanks to Web Ninja's experience and deep integration with their existing accounting/inventory system (MYOB Exo).
With the help of the Ninjas, Alphaweld has also been able to deliver a number of enhancements to their website.
Challenges
- The homepage was experiencing a high user bounce rate
- Inability to check whether a product item was in or out of stock
- Multiple price categories within the business
- Products comprising multiple and highly sought-after spare parts
Solution
- Modifications to Alphaweld’s homepage including the introduction of responsive category blocks, full-bleed promotional banners and mega menu drop-down for ease of navigation
- Implementation of MYOB Exo stock level connector on the website
- Online pricing tailored to the customer. Once a customer is logged into the website they will see all of their pricing from Exo.
- Enabling custom order templates on the website with full product breakdowns, allowing users to shop for spare parts with ease – see here for example.
Results
- Drop in homepage bounce rate and year-on-year growth in web traffic + sales
- The ability for users to check product stock availabilities in an instant
- Special online pricing access for customers
- Easy system for locating and ordering spare parts online
